Hey everyone. I met some of the members in the chat room however I wanted to say hello to everyone eles out there in phen cyber land!
I started Phen on Saturday and have lost three lbs already! I started overall dieting and exercising in the middle of May. So far, I have lost, as my scale tells me, 16 lbs. For some reason when I go to the doc his scale always seems to be more. Maybe cause I weight myself in the morning and he weights me in after breakfast and lunch and stuff.
Anyways, I want to say hello to all the wonderful people here in this forum. I have enjoyed reading the topics and I will continue to look here for inspiration.
OH, did anyone watch Oprah yesterday with Dr.Phil's weight loss program? I thought it was very insightful. He is a little aggressive sometimes, however, he does have some good points.
Quote of the day from Phil:
"LIFE REWARDS ACTION."

I am in Hutchinson. Yes, i've been on Phen since April 5th. I started at 156.8 and am down to 131.4 (with shoes) as of two days ago but yesterday i weighed without my shoes and was 129, wooohoooo! My goal is 125 and i am 5'5". So yes, i've had great success with it. I did stop for a couple of weeks and just maintained eating more of what i wanted so i know i shouldn't have a problem maintaining once i stop the phen which will be pretty soon.

I wish I could of started at your starting weight. I started dieting about a month and a half ago at 226. So far, I have lost about 12 lbs. I started phen on Saturday 15th, and so far, things are going well. I don't eat as much and I'm still exercising and drinking more water now. The phen makes me really thirsty. My goal is 140. I have a long ways to go. However, I just take it day by day. It's nice to hear from someone else in KS. You know, they said on the news that KS was one of the fattest states in the US. Sad isn't it? I guess I have turned into a statistic.

I am a newbie too! I have visited this site daily for the last 6-7 weeks but just recently decided to register. I started phen on 5/4 (37.5 blue/white) and have had great success. My appetite is gone, energy level is up, and with this forums support I've stayed motivated for 7 weeks straight. NO CHEATING, exercising more everyday usually both morning and night, and the weight is coming off. I do not weigh every week though. I would rather not know on a weekly basis the 1-3lbs, but be very excited after a month and see double digit pounds lost. (Started at 221 lost 16 first month and weigh in again on 7/5). I feel like I know most of you guys, I've read your success stories, your updates and understand what everyone is going through or has gone through. Like many of you I was thin in school, got the job I always wanted and didn't realize the affect sitting at a desk for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week for 10 years would have on my body. So I decided that I wasn't heavy at 23 and I'm not going to be heavy at 33 (November 2002). I've only failed at 2 things in my life, marriage and weightloss. One I hope to be able to scratch off that list by the end of the summer (and the other I had no real control over).
Sorry for rambling but wanted to tell everyone hi and that ya'll are AWESOME!!!!

Hi Everyone...I've been reading all the forum posts for about 3 months now. I've just now been able to actually post something. You all have given me alot of hope in this ever ending battle of loosing weight. I've really enjoyed all of your posts. Very encouraging and very supportive. I started phentermine March 21st. When I started I weighed 209lbs and now as of June 26th ...weigh 152. I've been counting calories and fat grams along with carbs. I also workout twice a day. I'm 38 yrs. old and a mother of 3 and a step mother of one. I'm very interested in talking with everyone out here and would enjoy having some new buddy's. I live in Indianapolis and I'm a stay-at-home Mom. My step-son lives with my hubby and I full time. Recently he was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and ADHD and OCD. This year has certainly been busy. I get up very early in the morning and take my phentermine before 6am. And go for my walk and then come home and log on to Phentermine.com......it really helps reading everyone's posts. If anyone lives in Indianapolis or near Indiana I would love to chat with you. Also I would love to get to know the rest of you. The fact that this year is my 20 year High School reunion...I just couldn't go to it and weigh 209lbs. In High School I weighed 125lbs. So you can see the dilema I was in. I just recently went for my weigh in....last Friday, and I almost hit the floor....I couldn't believe that I had lost the weight I've lost!! I cried all the way home. I haven't been this small in years. My Doctor said that this is my last 30 days on Phentermine...I know that I can loose the rest on my own, well I hope I can. Thank you all for listening to me ramble on....Hope to chat soon. Good Luck to everyone and Congrats to those who are doing soooo well. Lisa

Hey I used to live in Emporia, Kansas. I lived there for about 23 years of my life. I got married last summer and my husbands job moved us to Kerrville, TX. I sure do miss my home state though. I am and always will be a Kansas girl at heart. It's where my roots are. :) It's nice to meet someone on here from Kansas.

Hi To The Kansas Friends:
I am also from Kansas and have lived here all my life! I have been on Phen since February and have lost 40 pounds. I feel great and love the way I feel and look! I have about 10 pounds to go and then I need to keep my exercise going and maintain my weight - it is so scary because I have lost and gained the same 50 pounds many times! I am determined to keep it off this time. Maybe this forum will help me continue this determination! Thanks to all that can help me and also good luck to those just starting out! I'm here to help you too!
