Hello everyone! I'm going to start Phen on monday can anybody help me figure out what I'm suppose to eat in order for this to work?

HI JAG and Welcome to Phenland. I hope you get the advice that you need and are looking for.
When I first started takeing phen I ddin't eat anything special.I just cut back the portains and it still worked for me. I rode a stationary bike for 20 minutes everynight. Everyone is different but I can tell you that increasing your water intake will help , and lots. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help to you but i'm sure that some one can give you a more detailed answer tho. The ladies (and men tooo) are wonderful about heping and answering any questions that you made have.
Don't hesitate to ask anything,come here to vent, cry, brag or anyhting else that you want to talk about.

Hi and welcome!!

If you don't want to subscribe to one of the mainstream weightloss/diet plans...like Atkins, Weight Watchers (what I used), Eat for your type, Body for Life....you get the picture.

1. Follow the food guide pyramid, cutting back on the number of portions they suggest. Basically increasing fruits and veggies and eating WHOLE grains...limiting sweets, fats and eating meat moderately.

2. Limit alcohol severely.

3. Drink water...I don't swim in it...never did. I get 6-8 8os glasses a day.

4. Exercise...10 minutes starting out if that's all you can handle....slowly increase from there. When you get bored...try something different.

5. Come here everyday for support....post your frustrations...your successes...and help others when you can.

As I was saying before I was so rudely interupted. What the heck was that??????

ANYWHO, I drink 64 oz of water every day or at least try to. Every little bit counts. What I do is fill up my 32 oz jug full of water then I do 32 oz of sugar free crystal light strawberry lemonade. I'm not a lover of the plain water! LOL ;)

I don't have anything in my house that I can't eat. I'm not good at resisting temptation so if it isn't here then I can't mess up.

If I'm feeling a tish hungry or want a snack I go into the fridge and get a handful of grapes. You would be AMAZED at how good that works. It beats getting in the cabinet for some chips.

I like to get the Yoplait light Boston Creme pie yogurt. I'm not a fan of yogurt but that stuff is the bomb! I love it!

If you feel like eating chips get you some Baked Lays. They are REALLY good. My kids even like them and have no idea that they are "diet" food. I get the sour cream and onion ones! LOVE UM!

Lets see.......I don't follow a certain "plan" per say. I just eat normal stuff for supper. For lunch I will have like a WW Smart Ones meal. The Tuna Noodle Gratin one is soooo good. For breakfast I just either eat toast with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray on it or I eat flavored oatmeal.

For snacks I eat like fat free pudding or a tootsie roll pop.

So you see, I don't really do anything special. I don't count anything like calories or fat grams or anything. Just eat "healthy".

I hope that some of this helps. I know it's kindof hard getting started off.

I am new to this site and have a few questions. I have been taking phen for 5 weeks and have had good results. I have been getting them through a Dr. but would like to start getting them on line. Do you have any recommendations.

Hi All
I too have recently begun Phentermine again. Have used it on/off in the past but am trying to combine it with WW and excercise this time.
I also have over 100 pounds to lose. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month but am frustrated because I did not lose this week. I realize the way I select food may make it a slow process but I am trying to keep myself on a plan that I will be able to live on. I starved 97 pounds off 25 years ago. While my food choices are not always the best in fiber and vegetables I am trying to stay within the limits I am supposed to and make healthier choices.
After weighing in today I realized that I may have picked up muscle weight from working out however I tend to beat myself up because I am not the perfect "follower" of any program. I have read from others here that they work on gradual changes and I hope my food choices get better as I see some success.
I want to long term success. This has been a lifelong battle for me.
Thanks for all the posts I find everyones input very helpful.

hope you find the answers you are looking for.i still eat what i feel like,i just eat alot less.and i drink alot more water!!!i don't want to feel like i'm missing anything,because if i keep food from myself i just want it even more.so i just it a little.thats where the phen is a really great tool.good luck and i hope to see you around.elle
