:confused: Hello All: I haven't posted here in a long while. Could someone tell me the difference between the yellow cap and the blue/clear cap of phentermine? Hope all is well with everyone and the up coming holidays aren't hard on all with all the good eats! :D

i THINK the difference is the yellow is time-released?! that's why some people break up the blue flecked pill...

I'm thinking yellow is a different dose than blue.

yeah...that's true...i used the yellow 30mg and now have 37.5 and they are white with the blue flecks.

I'm taking 30mg's too, and they are blue and white capsules. What do you think the difference is between them?

To the best of my knowledge, both the blue and the yellow are time-released. If I understand correctly, the difference in color is merely because they are from different manufacturers. I am not 100% on that, but that is what I have heard.

I have also heard that they are different manufacturers which means some of the filler material in the capsule may be different (I think.) I just finished a script that was yellow and my next is the blue speckled. Hope I don't fall into a psychologial trap that one is better than the other.

Yellow is name brand blue is generic. Both are Timed Released. Wish u much success on your weightloss journey.
