Hi all! I am brand new to phen and am thrilled to have found this resource. Your success stories give me something to look forward to! I don't really have a question - just looking for some general feedback. I am relatively healthy (besides being about 60 pounds overweight) with normal blood pressure, etc. and no heart issues. My doctor (who I adore!) just started me on phen but only on 15 mg. I've only been on it for 3 days but I can't tell a BIT of difference in my appetite, energy level, etc. She said I need to take 15 mg 1/day for 10 days then I can increase to 30 mg/day. Did any of your doctors start you off slow? My best friend has had GREAT luck with phen and I am anxious to have similar results but this is a bit discouraging. Of course I will follow my doctor's advice but would love your feedback. Will I eventually feel the effects of 15 mg/day? Does it take some time to "build" in your system? Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

Shopaholic,

First off let me say WELCOME and I love your name. I can relate!

In my opinion it will take a couple of days to get into your system. Even if you don't really think you are feeling the effects of the 15 mg, it's only for a week.

Your doctor sounds like a good one so if it were me I'd just follow what she says.

Good Luck,

Tonia

I started on Wednesday and my doc also prescribed 15mg dose! I really felt it the first day but after that I didn't feel anything. I am calling him today to see if he will up my dosage. I'll let you know
