Most of the people shown in the tv ads have lost astronomical amounts of weight using various weight loss methods. I've been wondering lately if some of those GREAT bodies had to have liposuction, or operations to cut off the sagging, left-behind skin. When I first lost 13 lbs. on Phentermine, I noticed wrinkles in my face that were not there before. It was kind of scarey to see them, especially around my eyes. And the texture of my arm skin changed too. Kind of looked like that of a 70 year old person. Have any of you experienced this? Have any of you lost so much weight that you had to seek medical alternatives? What could be in store for me down the road while I'm losing the 85 lbs?

I havent noticed those side effects at all...could it be that you're watching your fat intake and not getting enough fat in your diet? That happenned to a friend of mine she lost alot of weight by restricting fat grams and after she lost the weight she looked muck older ...Just a thought
You may want to post your questions in the main forum...you'll get alot more responces

If you lose the weight at a nice and slow rate (around 2 pounds a week) your skin should shrink down naturally as you lose weight. Exercise will help your skin shrink down even better. If you lose weight really fast in the beginning your skin may take some time to catch up but I think it should eventually get there... I would suggest exercise to speed up the process if you are worried. You could also try one of those skin firming lotions. You have to use them everyday but they do tighten up your skin a bit. Good luck on your journey!
