I have been heavy as long as I can remember, I just had a baby 4 months ago and I gained 105lbs while I was pregnant. I went from 220lbs to 335lbs in 9 months. After having the baby, and with diet and exercise I am now down to 278lb. Im 5"11 so I don't look to bad. Any how, I took my first phen tab today (37.5 dosage), and so far, so good, but I wnat to lose 85 lbs. I am I being realistic? and about how long should it take? When I went ot see my doctor on Jan. 30 and got my pills, I told him I was stuck in the 270's and I told him I work out 7 days a week for 45min a day doing weight training and kick boxing. He said I was gaining muscle mass and that was why the scale was not moving.(I know this to be true). He told me for 2 weeks not to any of the "harsh muscle building exercises" and to just brisk walk or yoga 2-3 time a week untill I see him again in 2 weeks. Whats up with that? I need help, and inpiration. Please.

Hi! You are doing great! Your excercise routine puts me to shame!! YOur goal is totally realistic. I think after about a week or two you will see results that will keep you motivated. I actually just really really really changed my eating habits! Fruits for breakfast and lunch then a small portion of dinner. NO SNACKS UGH! LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER UGH! I hate water but I really believe that is a major key in weight loss. Good luck and keep up the good work!

I'm not fitness expert, but not doing any "heavy muscle building" exercises for the next two weeks doesn't sound right to me. Muscle burns fat, so the more you have, the more you'll burn. I may increase the time you do Cardio if anything. If you don't do muscle building exer. for two weeks, you'll lose what you've worked to gain in muscle tone. You're scale may not have gone down, but I bet your body fat did! Now that you're on the Phen, you're eating will change (with help from you) and for sure the numbers will go down.

Keep up the good work and let us know what happens at the Dr's in two weeks!!
