View Full Version : Has anyone ever only needed to lose 15 or 20 lbs on Phen?

Just trying to find anyone out there desperate as I am to lose this hard to lose 15 to 20 lbs.
Iam 5'2" and have for the 1st time reached a weight that has become out of hand for me. NONE of my clothes fit and I'm needing to know if someone else has had success in losing only a little weight. Help I am now at my highest weight ever 137lbs.

I started taking Phen on Feb 8, 2003. So far I have lost 8 pounds. I was also 137 when I started. After I had my son, I could not lose the "baby fat" that he left behind. He is now 2 1/2 years old. So far I have had success. I work full time and I am also a full time single mom, so I do not have a lot of time to work out. Just drink PLENTY of water and you should do fine.

Hey thanks for the input on your weight loss!
I know about the baby fat, I have 2 kids, one is 11 and one is 7 but the weight never left. I do walk and off and on try to really diet, but I need some incentive...like seeing some significant weight loss to get me motivated!!!
Did you go to your Dr? or online?

I went online and bought them. I have the 30mg yellow ones. So far they are working!! Good luck on your goal. I will keep you posted and you as well!!!

Yeah. When I first started taking Phen Nov 2002 (I started Thanksgiving Day) I weighed 160 pounds, my goal was to loose 15 pounds, by Christmas I weighed 150 pds. and by mid/end of January 2003 I weighed 143pds. Well I stopped taking phen for about 2 months and I gained back 5 pounds. April 1, 2003 I started taking them again; currently I weigh 148 pounds, my new current long term goal weight is 135 pounds. I want to loose 5/10 pounds by April 22, 2003.
This time I am going to drink lots of water and do some cardio/weight lifting.

Hi,
I just started on phen 3 days ago and have 16 lbs to lose. I always drink a lot of water throughout the day and hope that this will work. I think I have gained and lost the same 15 lbs a million times.

I too have only 17 pounds to lose until goal. I lost 20 lbs on phen last year after baby but couldn't afford it anymore but i have not gained any back except maybe 2 lbs but I plan on ordering from here today. My ultimate goal is 125 but I would be ecstatic at 130. I am not sure which phen to order this time around. I have read not so good things about the yellows but they are the cheapest. I have taken the blue/clear and white tablets 37.5. Anyways, keep us posted on your weightloss and anyone that can give me feedback about what pill they like the best let me know.

I am taking the blue/white 37.5 pills that I bought from here. I don't notice much difference but I guess I am eating less. I try to weigh every Monday morning and only weigh myself once a week. Do people weigh every day? I don't want to depress myself if I gain. :( I will take any tips to help me get this weight off.

I am bad I weigh everyday. I write it down too. I know it is not right, but it keeps me going even if I go up, I say oh well and keep going. I take the 30mg. blue white. I go to a weightloss doc. he gave me my script. when I picked it up from the pharmacy the girl said $5.00. I could not believe that my insurance covers this. But I will take it! They want to put me on a anti-depressant too, but I don't know how much that will cost me. Good luck to all of you.

Hi Everyone!
SummerLuvr--You and I have EXACTLY the same stats! I started on Phen (Ionamin) on 3/19/03 and have already lost 6 lbs!! I have been eating really healthy--absolutly no sweets, and just beginning to get back into the exercise thing. I used to work-out all the time but I got sidetracked a few months ago and the weight just started piling on. So, here I am.

hi girls, i am 42 and i need to loose 30 , by september i have this party, so today april 25 i just started on the 30 Mg. a friend told me just to take in the morning a if i am not hungry dont eat just lost of water diet soda, and any kind of water, with no calories or carbs. he said he is feeling good, so i am desperated i will do it, i will continue reading you girls, i come to this web every day. i am at work but is kind of slow, i sit the whole day but a do exercice i just boughtthe callanetics, tell you later, johanna :heartpump:

hi mjboop-

don't worry so much! your party is in september- that means you have five months. PLENTY of time! i've been on and off phentermine since november (it's good if you take a little break once in a while, you build up a tolerance)and have lost my goal of 30 pounds. the important thing is to drink alot of water (like everyone says, but it's true) and eat something for meals, even if you're not hungry, because you won't be. it's not good to eat too little. one thing that i found that worked great for a snack around lunchtime was albacore tuna. it's got alot of protein, and i try to eat some every day around noon. don't deprive yourself of your old sweet favorties, either- just don't eat too much. i've learned that a miniature snickers can taste like heaven after a long week of hard work! just don't give up and be smart!
