Does it take a while for the lbs to melt? i keep seeing all these awesome weight losses, and i have been on it for a week, and i haven't lost anything...?
I have been eating less, but the scale is the same. Does it take a while for this to take effect?

Try drinking tons of water at 640z, and get more active. Water is the only way to flush those fat cells out.

I started on 3/13/03 and I have lost ten pounds. I drink anywhere from 64-90 ozs. of water everyday. SInce I'm drinking so much water I'm not drinking anything else. Plus I have been watching what I eat. I haven't had to exercise yet but I do work in a child care center. I ran after toddlers all day. I hope you start losing, just drink lots of water. I sometimes drink the flavored water too because regular water gets old.
Good Luck!!

I've jsut began on the 30mg. The first two weeks I lost 7lbs and my girlfriend lost 10lbs. I am now starting my 4th week and things weren't coming off for me but KEEW said the same to me (DRINK MORE WATER) I believe them. Try it and let me know. I'm also going to start a low carb eating program. I wish us all success!

You sound just like me. I didn't lose anything for a long time. And then I'd lose a few pounds and then nothing for a long time again. I started on Feb. 5th and have only lost 11 pounds on phen. I'm on the 37.5 mg TWICE a day (once a day wasn't enough to curb my appetite so the doctor upped it to 2 a day...I don't always have to take 2 though). I've been drinking my water but maybe not totally getting at least 64 ounces each day and I'm constantly in motion. Working up a sweat each day all day. But, the weight is barely coming off. Each person is different. Some people lose faster than others. Hang in there. I about gave up so many times but I kept at it and, even though I've only lost 11 pounds while on phen, 11 pounds is better than none at all. Good luck.

I started 9/28/02 at 215# and I'm at 160# now. I was on phentermine 37.5 for 3 months and lost most of the weight then. My strategy was intense exercise, 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat and kept my calorie intake between 900-1200. Now that I'm off the phentermine I have to fight my appetite, but you can't stay on that stuff forever.
